Just a tiny post to say that we're glad that WWF is on the n°79 of Stash, always a good news to be a part of it.

Beside, the Giants are selected to the SICAF at Seoul.
It's great to see that the Giants are moving abroad :)
It was driving them crazy to stay in my tiny room.

If you're in Brooklyn around the 20th of may, you can see the Giants at the Rooftop Films Festival.
I would love to be there.

The new 2011 calendar from Chez Eddy is out !!!
We've been asked to share this calendar with Mat&FX.
And given that 2011 is closer to the future, we decided to go for a old 3D anaglyph style.
At the top of the picture, it's written :
" The Giant is dressed up to the two thousand nines "

Le tout nouveau calendrier 2011 de Chez Eddy est fini .
Nous avons partage le calendrier en avec Mat&FX.
2011 est bien plus proche du futur, du coup nous avons decidé de faire une illusration en 3D anaglyphe, comme dans les livres quand on était gamin.
Vous savez bien, ceux avec des posters de dinosaures en 3D.

Giant Episode 2 Sun

The second episode of the Giant's Serie is finally finished!

As we said before, each episode will have a different Giant. This one is the story of "The Giant Sun" and his lost ray beam.
The idea is to travel through the world of the Giant and discover the untold truth about them and their conflicts with the human being.
You can discover below some pictures of the (futur) others Giants.

And also big thanks to Passion Pictures people, who give us a good and warm place to work on our personal projects, with a proper desk... niceee!

Those 2 first episodes were autoproduced, we would love to keep on creating episodes. We're looking for someone who could help us on producing it. "We need you!" to keep on telling their stories.

Voila le deuxieme episode du projet de serie TV Giant.

Comme nous l'avons déjà expliqué dans un post précédent, chaque épisode raconte les aventures d'un géant différent. Celui ci est basé sur le Géant Soleil qui vient de perdre son rayon de soleil au milieu d'un ville d'humains.
L'idée est de suivre tous ces géants et ainsi decouvrir leur face caché, car ils ne sont pas si terrifiants qu'il n'y parait.
En vrac différents designs des eventuels prochains géant.

Et aussi un gros merci aux gens de Passion Pictures pour nous avoir preté ce joli bureau pour nous permettre de travailler sur nos projets perso.

Ces 2 premiers episodes ont ete autoproduit, on a d'autres histoires sous le coude, tout chaud, tout beau, du coup on recherches des gens pour nous aider a produire cette serie et continuer cette aventure de géant. "We need you!"

It's a small animation for a irish airplane compagny.

Here's a project I've been working on for quite a while, but now the first episode is completed.
This serie project is called Giant.
Each episode will have a different Giant.
The idea is to travel through the world of the Giant and discover the untold truth about them and their conflicts with the human being.

Voici le premier episode d'un projet que je tenais sous le coude depuis un bout de temps.
La serie s'intitule Giant.
Comme son nom l'indique, il s'agit d'une serie sur les Geants.
Chaque episode sera base sur un Geant different, et nous decouvrirons leur face cache, et leurs nombreux conflicts avec les humains qui les entourent.

Here is our firt pitch with Celine at Passion Pictures.
We didn't get it, but we're glad to have worked on that because of the creative freedom we had,
I guess it won't happen all the time.
We had to do a storyboard, styleframes and also a small animation test.
The references were based on Saul Bass and the opening credits of Catch me if you can, a good starting point.

Voici notre premier picth avec Celine pour Passion Pictures.
Ce projet ne pas le jour, malheureusement pour nous, mais on a pu s'eclater dessus.
Le pitch contenait un storyboard, des styleframes et un test d'animation. (qui represente deja une bonne partie de ce qu'aurais du etre le projet complet)
Saul Bass et le generique d'ouvertures de Catch me if you can etaient les references à utiliser, plutot agreable de travailler dans cette direction.

I focus on the transition between the leather suit and the skeleton, and when the body disapear at the end.

Celine et moi avons travaille sur les key designs de la derniere pub HP de Smith & Foulkes a Nexus.
Une evolution du numerique a un monde en papier.
Un projet vraiment interessant a designer,tellement qu'on aurait aime pouvoir se
pencher encore plus dessus pour enrichir cet univers.
Dommage qu'on ne sente plus cette idee de transition dans le resultat final.

Celine and I worked on the key design for the last HP ad of Smith & Foulkes for Nexus.
It's all about a journey from numeric to a paper world.
It was so much fun working on this project, that we wish we had more time
to work on it and developt it, there are so much things that could have been done.
That's sad that we don't really undestand this transition in the final result.

On s'est un peu emballé sur le format du coup voici quelques extraits, et la version complete en format timbre poste pour les curieux.
Cette image ma fait mal au dos, sinon c'était chouette quand meme.

We were craking on more than expected, it turned into a very massive panoramic, so here are some excerpts and the full picture in a very tiny size for the curious.
Making this picture was such a backache, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway.

Voici le projet qu'on vient tout juste de réaliser avec Celine pour la WWF.
Encore un projet ecolo, une animation de 2 minutes pour le panda.
Une prod rustique d'un peu plus de 3 semaine à Wyld Stallyons.

La vidéo sera bientot disponible, en attendant voici quelques images def et recherches.

Un merci tout special à John Martin qui nous à scripté une petite merveille pour nettoyer mes cochoncetés et m'empecher de m'arracher les cheveux.
